2. Professional Experience

Since 2008 he is Researcher at the ISTEC-CNR Faenza (Institute of Science and Technology for Ceramics, former IRTEC, Istituto di Ricerche Tecnologiche per la Ceramica) with a permanent position.
From 1996-2006 Research Fellow for ISTEC-CNR Faenza on behalf of different research projects sponsored by MURST, private companies or EU programmes, with an activity particulary focused on the synthesis, characterization and functionalization of ceramic powders and ferroelectric materials. Part of the activity was especially dealing with co-tutoring of several students during their M.Sc. or Ph.D. theses in Chemistry.

3. Role in ISTEC

Since June 2010 in charge of Nanotechnology laboratory.
Since January 2011 leading “Nanotechnology and colloidal processes” activity (“New technologies for the environment, housing, industry and heritage” group).
Research and development of innovative processes for the synthesis and functionalization of ceramic nano powders; synthesis and characterization of colloidal systems applied to surface functionalization (coating, core-shell structures, granulation), to casting processes and pre-sintering treatments.
